I am seriously considering getting a Grande Punto for my next car however I'm getting a bit confused about the numerous 'versions' of the car. There seems to be the Active, Dynamic, Eleganza and various sport suffix models. I'm currently looking at the 1.4 Dynamic Sport but I don't know what jump up this actually is from the Dynamic (if at all).
Ryaaan said: As long as they are 4x100 and have centerbore 56.6 or bigger they will fit. It also depends on the width of the wheels and the offset. hope this helps. that's correct - basically the GP is a GM / FIAT effort and uses Vauxhall hubs = NOT FIAT, so Punto 2/B wheels do NOT fit ( 4 x 98PCD), GP , punto EVO and 2012 on punto are all o.k.

One way to check is to get a set of jump leads, attach one to the black terminal on the battery, the other end onto the engine, then attach the other to the engine and the other end to the chassis. This will then create a temporary earth, turn it over and see if it starts, if it does, replace the black earth lead off the battery complete, not a

This is particularly hilarious on a bypass road at 80km/h at 4:30pm on a Friday. So you call up the dealer and give them the part number for one of the cables. Concerning that the regular Fiats in Forza right now are just some of their old cars, then I guess this modern Fiat will be a good choice to bring it back. As much as I would like the Abarth Punto to return, then I will also consider the Fiat Punto Evo Sport to return as well.

Since you plan to keep the car for a long time, i feel you should go for punto as spare parts for palio might be an issue some years down the lane as palio stile never sold in good numbers as compared to linea/punto which have lot of parts in common.
Thoughts on fiat grande punto as a first car? Models from 2007, 2008, 2009. 1.3 multijet. Most of them have anywhere from 110k to 150k km on the clock. And it is around 4000€. Car will be used mostly for city driving.
