when joining a server you might have your game crash and go back to your desktop screen there is a simple salution to this, open task manager ctrl+alt+del then click on processes tab, find Bf2, right click it and select Set afinity make sure only cpu 0 is selected. this is all you will need to do the down side to this is that you will have to

Same with me. Played yesterday with a friend - server which we were on went down for both of us at the same time. After that 0 servers are visible, regardless of ticked/unticked options in search - there are simply No servers running to connect to in BC2. Needs urgent fix as multiplayer is non-existant at the moment

This is why I LOVE Xbox backwards compatibility, for most xbox games the servers are still up, (first party especially) which annoys me about Playstation Now, not even their first party multiplayer games servers are up, I hope Sony changes that, I'd love to play some Killzone 2/3 online.
