Copper Fed Salvage o matic is a permanent salvage kit that's the same quality as a Basic Savage Kit. With that you no longer need to carry around lower quality kits. Bank is probably the best buy, since there's plenty to do in the bank and having it everywhere you go is the most convenient out of all of them. Though to be honest, just save your money and go to WvW or HotM for instant [free] bank/tp access, and leave through the menus to go right back where you were in PvE.
In hindsight I regret buying it as my first permanent contract. Should've bought the bank access as the first one as I get so much more use out of the bank contract. Do you find that since you have the permanent you change hair constantly, daily or on a whim? I change my hair maybe a few times a month.

Zephire.8049. To add on to what Danikat said, lounges (usually) load faster than LA does, either because the map is smaller or because the lounge is in a less populated part of the game. I think the only exception to this is the Lily of Elon which falls victim to PoF load times.
